Google updated Google Earth a couple of weeks ago to include Google Sky which consists of about one hundred million stars and two hundred million galaxies to explore from your desktop. This is not the only thing Google updated however, the geeks at Google also included a fully working flight simulator with the latest update!
You access the flight sim by pressing Ctrl-Alt-A. This brings up a dialog box giving you a choice between two planes (F16 and an SR22) it also allows you to select a starting location.
Once you run the flight sim for the first time it is added to the menu and can be accessed by choosing Tools > Enter Flight Simulator.
I found both planes quite hard to fly although I haven’t tried the joystick option which may be a little easier.
I love Google 😛
