The original lightsaber used by Luke (Mark Hamill) will blast off into space in October aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery bound for the ISS.
This pointless (but geeky cool) exercise is to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Star Wars: A New Hope.

This is the Mark III suit that Robert Robert Downey Jr will wear in the Jon Favreau directed Iron Man film due out May 2008. The suit has been created by Oscar-winning special effects guru Stan Winston and is very closely based to the one in the comics.

According to HollywoodNorthReport.com, Scott Derrickson will direct FOX’s remake of the 1951 sci-fi classic The Day The Earth Stood Still.
