The difference between a million, billion and a trillion
It is very difficult to comprehend the scale of very large numbers but this post on tysknews.com does a very good job of putting these numbers into perspective.
Their website design looks to be from a hundred years ago as well :)
A million hours ago was in 1885.
A billion hours ago man had not yet walked on earth.
