MXN Limited announced this week that they have bought the domain name Porn.com for an amount in excess of $9 Million US. The full details of the deal have not been disclosed but it is definitely one of the most significant adult domain transactions in history.

Porn.com is one of the most typed in URL’s on the interwebs attracting millions of unique visitors every month so its revenue generating potential is enormous.

The new owners are in no rush to go live with a relaunch of the site, preferring instead to take some time doing their homework.

“The possibilities with PORN.COM are limitless,” says the new owner. “To rush its development just to get something brand new ‘live’ would be foolish. We will carefully evaluate our options before we decide the direction we wish to take it”.
