XP: Going, going, gone.

WIndows XP OEM will be no more next year and Microsoft’s contracts will require companies to sell only Vista machines. Hopefully by then Microsoft will have sorted some of the issues that are currently plaguing Vista, such as the quite hefty system requirements and driver incompatibilities. My take is that this is a potentially bad move from Microsoft if these issues are not addressed, let’s face it, users have been staying away from Vista for a reason, forcing people to use it will only make some look at alternatives.
