Price and date set for Optimus keyboard
The world’s sexiest keyboard, the Optimus Maximus by Art Lebedev with its uber cool shape shifting keys will be available November 30 for, (sit down for this) $1536 US. Planned production is only 200 per month for the first couple of months so these babies will initially be pretty rare, although at that price I don’t think the demand will be enormous. The Optimus Maximus keyboard contains a small organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display behind each key so that each keys appearance and mapping can be changed at will. This allows you to ultra customise your setup to your taste, for instance you can have a standard QWERTY layout or DVORAK and different setups for various games.
