Want to upgrade the hard drive in your iPod but don’t know how? The Command-Tab blog has a great tutorial on how to do it. The guide is quite comprehensive covering everything including hard drive selection, preparation for the delicate operation and what tools you need to perform the transplant. A word of warning though, if you have never worked with electronic components before and can’t afford to replace your iPod then I wouldn’t recommend that you go down this upgrade path.

One other thing, don’t try this on your iPod shuffle or nano of course.
