Latest study shows no link between mobile phones and cancer

A Danish study has found no link to using your mobile phone and the development of brain tumours, which is good news for the estimated 2 billion mobile phone users globally.
The study involved over 400,000 participants which is the largest such study to date and found absolutely no correlation between mobile phone use and brain cancer.
The study did come up with some suprising results however. One of these was that male mobile phone users were statistically less likely to develop lung cancer, the researchers believe that this observation can be explained by the fact that early adopters of mobile phones tend to be in a high social economic category and are thus less likely to smoke than the poorer classes. Another result of this research that is difficult to explain is the observation that women who have used mobile phones for a long time are more likely to develop cervical cancer and kidney cancer. The cervical cancer link raises issues about mobile phone use and sexual activity, although the kidney cancer link is a mystery.
