This really pisses me off, the Grand Canyon Park Service is not allowed to comment on the age of the Grand Canyon as doing so may hurt the feelings of dickheads Creationists who claim that the Canyon was formed by Noah’s flood.
A Creationist publication making this claim is still on sale at the park more than three years after a review of it’s approval was promised by government officials. Despite the promise, no review into the approval of this book has been undertaken to date.

“In order to avoid offending religious fundamentalists, our National Park Service is under orders to suspend its belief in geology,” stated PEER Executive Director Jeff Ruch. “It is disconcerting that the official position of a national park as to the geologic age of the Grand Canyon is ‘no comment.’”

I feel sorry for the Park Service employees who have to put up with this garbage. The silent majority needs to speak out about this.. Creationism = Junk Science
