Free copies of Vista and Office 2007

Microsoft is giving copies of Vista and Office 2007 away. Why? To ensure that resident enthusiasts get familiar with the new features and convince their office managers that they ‘must’ upgrade so that they can have access to even more features they will never use.

There are 2 catches to this give away though. The first is that you have to sit through three webcasts on Vista and/or Office 2007 to receive your free copies. The second catch is that you must be a legal resident of the US. Seems that Microsoft didn’t want to risk having 5 billion people take up the offer. ;)

The promotion is called Power Together you can check it out here.

  1. I think it’s great microsoft is doing this, aside from the fact that it’s temporary, it’s not a bad idea. Microsoft wouldn’t suffer by offering their operating systems at lower prices..

Anyway, I wrote up an article on my site about how major electronic and technology retailers screw unknowing consumers – should check it out. http://www.jruck.com
