Air guitar T-shirt
Aussie scientists have developed the ultimate T-shirt for the uber-geek. It’s called the WIS - the Wearable Instrument Shirt.
The shirt which has been developed by scientists at the CSIRO in Australia contains electronic sensors which have been woven into the material that allow it to be played like a guitar. The wearer basically plays “air guitar” and the arm movements are sent wirelessly to a computer and translated into sound.
The scientists believe that the market future for intelligent clothing such as WIS is enormous with future applications including gaming interfaces and training physiotherapy patients to walk again.
In the mean time, at least you can now sound really bad instead of only just looking stupid.
